Shuyu worked on electrocatalysis at Fudan University. When she's at leisure, she enjoys playing piano, sometimes video games. Hiking and snowboarding are her new hobbies in Davis.

Previously, Oby was a Quality Assurance Chemist at Dangote Fertilizer, overseeing the synthesis processes of liquid ammonia and urea fertilizers. Outside of the lab, she enjoys listening and dancing to Afrobeats music.

Eda was a postdoc in Prof. Gurkan's lab at CWRU until 2023, where she developed sorbent systems for CO2 utilization. Eda is also a Zumba instructor, EMCC-accredited mentor, and enjoys exploring new places, cooking, and sports.

After a Ph.D. with Prof. S. K. Padhi, Surabhi was a postdoc at IIT Bombay with A. Dutta and V. Vishal working on capture and electrocatalytic conversion of CO2 into C2 substrates. She also likes playing badminton, dancing and music.

Kirti did her Ph.D. with Dr. Debashis Adhikari, where she developed 3-d metal photocatalyst based on the redox non innocent ligands. On rainy days, Kirti likes to experiment with cooking and on sunny days she likes to backpack.
